Zorin OS 15 now available, based on Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS

Zorin OS 15

Zorin OS 15 has been officially released this afternoon. This version is based on Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS, the second version update of Ubuntu that was released in April last year. Unlike other distributions such as those from Arne Exton, Zorin OS developers prefer to base their system on LTS versions of Ubuntu, which ensures, first, longer-lasting support and, second, that their operating system has fewer bugs than a version that has recently been released as Disco Dingo.

Zorin OS 15 uses Ubuntu 18.04.2 repositories with the kernel HWE (Hardware Enablement) and the graphical stacks of Ubuntu 18.10. This release coincides with the tenth anniversary of the release of the first version and adds all kinds of improvements to a Linux distribution whose raison d'être is that it is familiar to users. switchers coming from Windows.
