We've reached a point in the development of Wine Is Not an Emulator where every week that passes without a new stable release will be news. A few hours ago, WineHQ launched WINE 10.0-rc5, which is the fifth release candidate of the next major software update. Last year, this RC was followed by the stable one, so we will probably publish a different news in seven days.
But each thing in its time. What we already have in our hands is a WINE 10.0-rc5 in which 31 bugs have been fixed, those in the following list. The total number of changes amounts to 59, perhaps more than expected at this point and which contributes to thinking that there could be a stable version next week.
