Total War: Warhammer II is the continuation of the critically acclaimed game Total War: WARHAMMER, which also received a version for MacOS and Linux thanks to Feral Interactive.

Total War: Warhammer II features turn-based strategy and real-time tactics game similar to other games in the Total War series.

In the campaign, players move armies around the map and manage settlements in turns.

Players engage in diplomacy and fight AI-controlled factions. When armies meet, a real-time battle ensues.

The game also has a custom battles mode where players can create custom battles in real time, as well as online multiplayer battles.

Those who own races from the first game will have the same races unlocked for multiplayer in the second game.

The main campaign of the game is called Eye of the Vortex. It's a narrative-focused campaign where each of the playable races has its own story and scenes.

According to Feral Interactive, To play Total War: WARHAMMER II on Linux, a GeForce GTX 970 or better or Radeon RX 480 or better is required.

On the driver front they list at least the NVIDIA 396 driver series or for RADV support with Mesa 18.1.5 or newer.

Nice to see they don't require the latest NVIDIA / Mesa drivers this time around for their Vulkan-powered Linux gaming ports.

In order to run this title on Linux, Feral Interactive recommends Linux gamers use a computer with at least Ubuntu 18.04 64-bit, an Intel Core i3-4130 3.4 GHz processor, 6GB of RAM, an Nvidia GTX 680 2GB or AMD R9 285 2GB graphics card (XNUMXrd generation GCN) or higher.

While the recommended requirements are a 7GHz Intel Core i4770-3.4 processor, 8GB of RAM and an Nvidia GTX 970 4GB or AMD RX 480 4GB or higher graphics card.

Compatible Mac users include all 13-inch MacBook Pro models released since 2016, all 15-inch MacBook Pro models released late 2013 with a 2.3 GHz or higher processor.

All 21.5-inch iMac models since late 2017, as well as all 27-inch iMac models released since late 2013 with a 2GB or better graphics card.
