At the middle of March we publish an article about the best alternatives to ChatGPT. Among them was AnonChatGPT, and among its functions we find that it does not require registration. I think many of us like to use certain services without having to register, and the best examples are found in different web search engines. From the beginning, OpenAI required an account to be able to use their chatbot, but now you can open it and ask questions directly. Or it will be possible very soon.

ChatGPT without registration has limitations
When it is available, what you see is something similar to the header capture, that is, directly the chat with its examples. Now, there are certain limitations that are probably not such for those who prefer the free version:
- It is not possible to use GPT-4. The only option is GPT-3.5, the same as in the free version.
- There is no chat history beyond the browser session. When you close it, they will disappear.
This is only possible in the web version; Apps still require an account.
Why OpenAI allows it
The reason why OpenAI allows using ChatGPT without registration has not been made public, but it seems to be related to collecting data to train your AI. The more people use it, the better. And since the option to use our chats for this training is activated by default, you will receive a lot of information.
If we do not want to participate in this, you can click on the question button at the top right, enter the options and deactivate it, but the conversations will be saved for 30 days as in the free model. This is something that must be done in each of the chats that we open, and a bit of privacy is gained because the chats are no longer associated with any account.
