The community also succeeded in managing connections automatically by configuring DNS settings per game, and this option, previously available in unofficial forks, has arrived in PPSSPP 1.19.
There are several community servers available, such as PS Rewired, Openspy, The Anrigravity Racing Foundation, and the Medal of Honor: Online Revival Project. Supported games include:
- Field Commander.
- Siphon Filter: Omega Strain.
- Marvel Legends.
- Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron.
- WipeOut Pulse.
- Medal of Honor: Heroes.
On the technical side, this will be the last major release to support D3D9, but D3D11 will continue to be an option alongside Vulkan and OpenGL. These are necessary steps for the emulator's evolution.
PPSSPP 1.19 is now available on all supported platforms, including Linux, macOS, Windows, Android, and even iOS, as Apple also supports emulators in its store (they're currently missing Kodi).
