Linux Lite 7.2 arrives with support for Lite AI and the possibility of upgrading to Linux 6.11

Linux Lite 7.2

Over the past week, Linus Torvalds has been talking a bit about artificial intelligence. When asked what he thinks of it, he said that it's all about marketing these days, that it will be really important in the future, but that time hasn't come yet. When the "wow" moment passes, things will settle down. It's funny that he said this the same week that has arrived un Linux Lite 7.2 Among the new features is a point called “Lite AI Support”.

There are no image generators or chat bots at the moment… at least in the operating system. What they do have is a web page chatbot which we can ask about any topic related to your system, available at linuxliteos.com/chatai/If we ask it anything, thinking it's some kind of ChatGPT, such as "what time is it?", it won't be able to answer us. But if we ask it about the operating system, it will give us precise instructions. And it's not necessary that they be about the system itself; we can also ask how to install programs, even those that are not in the official repositories.
