GNOME 3.32 receives its second and final maintenance update

GBOME 3.34 begins its development phase

The GNOME project today announced the general availability of the second and last maintenance update of the graphical environment GNOME 3.32 Taipei for all Linux operating systems.

Coming a month after the first update, GNOME 3.32.2 is here to add a final touch of bug fixes and security, various improvements and translations for different GNOME key components and applications.

Since GNOME 3.32.2 is a maintenance and stability update, its installation is recommended for all users that have the GNOME 3.32 graphical environment.

GNOME 3.34 is coming at the end of the year

While GNOME 3.32.2 is the latest update in the GNOME 3.32 Taipei series of this acclaimed graphical environment for Linux operating systems, the GNOME project mentions that Flatpak will still be updated, so we guess this is the favorite installation method for the latest GNOME update.

Packages GNOME 3.32.2 is coming very soon in the stable repositories of your favorite distributions, so be sure to install as soon as it is available. Those who want to compile GNOME 3.32.2 can use the source packages. You can see all the changes from GNOME 3.32.2 at this link.

The GNOME project is already working on its next release, GNOME 3.34, that is planned for the end of the year, September 11. Development of GNOME 3.34 Thessaloniki has already begun and a second public beta will be available later this year.
