So, for those unfamiliar with the title or those who haven't yet tried it, now is a good time to acquire the previous DLCs and catch up before the new content of Rule Britannia arrives . Almost five years after the release of Europa Universalis IV, work continues on improving and refining the game. The previous DLC, Cradle of Civilization, already included some interesting new features; in fact, it was one of the most significant expansions released to date. However, the same cannot be expected from Rule Britannia, which will be something smaller and more focused.
This new expansion focuses more on the British Isles , meaning players will have more content and the constituent nations will be even more prominent. Many of the features and functionalities it will offer are still unknown, but some details have been officially released, such as the new direction for trade, knowledge sharing with allies, and new army units comprised of members from the new British nations, like the Irish, Cornish rebels, and others.
Of course, we'll have new missions exclusive to England, Scotland, and Ireland. On a technical level, the Industrial Revolution has also reached the game, with numerous improvements for greater productivity, wealth, and coal production. And the new features aren't limited to land; naval fleets will also receive some tweaks, as has been revealed. Likewise, the game will include the introduction of a new Protestant faith: Anglicanism.
