
Just over seven months after the previous medium version, we already have a new update of that tool that breaks the existing barriers between Linux distributions, if there ever were any. Distrobox 1.8 has arrived with many fixes, features and updated images. It should not be forgotten that it is a tool that allows us to install images of different operating systems and perform various operations, but updates to the available systems are still important.
As we read in the Notes for this release, it was a necessary release in which corrections are highlighted in how enter manages shells, which will eliminate future problems with leaks. In addition, integration with NVIDIA has been improved and the possibility of using distrobox assembly remotely.
Other new features in Distrobox 1.8
Distrobox 1.8 has added support for several new images, such as uBlue and toolbx or the new Fedora, Ubuntu and Alpine.
