Other changes that stand out are that added “-edio” option to TUI to enable direct I/O in Partclone when saving and restoring NVMe SSDs, as well as added support for the startup parameter ocs_screen_blank=”no” that prohibits turning off the screen when it is idle.

In addition to that, now when saving images to TUI, the “-z9p” (zstd multithreaded compression) compression mode is enabled by default, the bt_restoredisk mode allows you to restore images to a device with a different name.

Improved mechanism for reserved word name "all" when in restoredisk/restoreparts restore mode, in addition to adding the reserved names "unmounted_disk" and "unmounted_parts" for restore and restore modes, respectively.

Of the other changes that stand out from this new version:

  • Partclone has been updated to Partclone version 0.3.27, which now supports the «–read-direct-io” and “–write-direct-io” to enable direct I/O when reading and writing.
  • The package mlocate has been replaced by plcate.
  • Options have been added "-ssnf" and "-iui" to ocs-live-feed-img.
  • The Memtest86+ utility has been updated to version 6.20.
  • Provides the ability to select the active network adapter on systems with multiple network cards.
  • The disk ID path is now displayed in the disk information.
  • The options -bdt and -bsdf from ocs-live-feed-img are in disuse. 
  • They are replaced by -cdt and -csdf, which means conversion (including bittorrent and multicast), not just for bittorrent.
