Parrot 7.3 improves performance and incorporates new tools
One of the main new features of Parrot 7.3 is the addition of an optional repository with packages optimized for modern processors. These packages are specifically compiled for x86-64-v3 and ARMv8.2-A architectures, allowing users to take advantage of advanced instructions found in current CPUs. Depending on the task, especially in intensive processes such as compression, encryption, or multimedia encoding, the project claims that performance improvements can range from 20% to 50%.
