Many have recommended alternatives, but I've stuck with this "heroic" launcher and it's the only one I've used when I've wanted to play titles from stores like GOG, Epic, and Amazon Games. I have to admit I don't use it much because almost everything I play is from Steam, but I also have to confess that the new interface is quite appealing. Heroic Games Launcher 2.21 has arrived with the main novelty being a Console Mode."
By default, Heroic Games Launcher 2.21 opens as in previous versionsThat is, with that general desktop application interface. But it's available from the settings (you can select to open in Console ModeAnd from the side panel, you can activate a new interface that's more reminiscent of what you see on a console. Although Steam lets you add games to your library, Heroic doesn't rely solely on Valve's platform, and the new interface is well worth checking out.
Heroic Games Launcher 2.21's new Console mode. Here's how it works
Console mode is not designed to manage games; it is designed to launch them. It works perfectly with remote controlsThis allows us to navigate the interface without a keyboard or mouse. The idea is to install the games using the standard interface and then use console mode. Once the games are installed, the All section appears, along with a tab for each platform, such as GOG or EPIC.
